After getting the perfect engagement ring, you have proposed and your partner has accepted! Next up is planning for the wedding. Planning for a wedding can be exhausting, time consuming but ultimately happy and fulfilling. Here are some checklists we have put together to help you prepare for your big day:

Preliminary stage

1. Plan your wedding budget
2. Shop for wedding bands
3. Determine number of guests
4. Book banquet and reception venue
5. Shop for bridal studio (includes bridal gown, groom’s tuxedo or suit, studio and outdoor photography, hairstylist and make up artists, bridal bouquet and corsages)
6. Search for honeymoon destination

Advanced stage

1. Draw up guest list and order invitation cards and wedding favours(optional)
2. Mail invitations
3. Confirm bridal studio and take pre-wedding photos
4. Book wedding day photographer and videographer
5. Find your bridesmaid, groomsmen ,flower girl, page boy. Order their suits and dresses. Arrange transport on wedding day for them. Shop for thank you gifts for them
6. Shop for thank you gifts for your parents. Order their wedding attires.
7. Shop for Guest books, ring pillows etc.
8. Plan your wedding schedule, select music for banquet and rehearse with hosts.
9. Book your honeymoon destination.

Panic stage

1. Remind and confirm guests attendance, finalize guests list and seating arrangement
2. Review all final details with photographers, videographers, make up artists etc
3. Get your bridesmaids and groomsmen to review all details
4. Print out schedules for important people involved
5. Pack for honeymoon
6. Relax
